Mr Ryan said, ‘I am delighted to have been given this opportunity by Apex. They are a company that understands print and are committed to working closely with commercial printers. As a business they also understand digital is playing an ever larger and more important role in print production. All printers will have digital equipment of some sort in the coming years.
‘The team at Apex have seen the potential of the Konica Minolta equipment in the traditional print market. In my experience these products offer the best entry point for small to medium sized commercial printers into the digital market. They provide all of the control that litho printers look for in order to achieve accurate image position and best quality colour. Apex is able to add the applications and technical support skills to make these excellent products work to best effect.’
Mr Ryan has a specific territory running through the Midlands and the east of England. Bob Usher, managing director, said, ‘Mike was the ideal candidate for this new sales position. The job offers him the chance to combine his knowledge of the digital market, his appreciation and understanding of Konica Minolta equipment and his experience of the printing industry. This combination of skills is hard to find, but it is exactly what we need at this point in time.’
