Looking to build on its reputation for building quality and robust machinery, Autobond has appointed Grupo Impryma as its distribution agent in Spain.
John Gilmore, managing director, said, ‘It is clear from the high number of global sales we have received over the last year that the work of local distributors is crucial to success. It is paramount for our customers to have local service and support for their machines.’
Mr Gilmore continued, ‘The Spanish market is important for Autobond because of the consistent demand for high quality lamination and the fast growing interest in other added value applications that our machines can produce. We were thrilled by the large number of Spanish visitors to our drupa stand last year despite the economic challenges the country has faced.’
The company launched its first digital inkjet spot UV device in 2011, and at drupa 2012 it debuted the entry level Micro 52 SD TP B2 laminator, the high productivity 120 m/min Mini 105 TPHS B1 laminator and an offline 52 SUV spot UV inkjet machine.
Félix Prieto, managing director, said, ‘Autobond is recognised worldwide as being a quality manufacturer and this is something that complements our portfolio. It also enables us to offer finishing solutions to digital web printers, in addition to sheet fed offset and digital printers. There is a steady market in Spain for laminating and encapsulation machinery, and for added value services, such as inkjet spot UV varnishing, that can help customers stand out in their field and differentiate their business by producing stunning quality print.
