Xante’s Excelagraphix 4200 high speed wide format inkjet print system, which is based on Memjet printing heads, has been announced as ready to ship this spring.
Designed to meet the growing demand in the packaging market to print variable data on a variety of media including heavy corrugated and foam board (9.5 mm thick), and on oversized sheets up to 42 inches (1067 mm) wide by 50 feet (15 metres) long, the system can perform print speeds of up to 12 inches (305 mm) per second.
It is driven by the company’s iQueue Prepress Ultimate Workflow, which handles complex digital files, makes critical colour adjustments, applies custom imposition, estimates job cost and more.
