Phil Carr of PaperlinX: ‘Our objective is to create a clear, consistent identity and to increase the visibility of the PaperlinX brand.’
Paper merchants Howard Smith Paper Group, Robert Horne Group and PaperCo are no longer trading under their individual identities, following the decision of its parent group PaperlinX to introduce new corporate branding across its UK and Ireland operations.
The Group has been undertaking a series of measures to improve efficiency within its customer sales and service operations, drive performance improvements and improve its profitability. One of those recent measures was to create a single, unified PaperlinX account management team as the company restructured its Commercial Print business. That change is now reflected in the three merchants operating under a unified PaperlinX banner with immediate effect.
Managing director Phil Carr said: ‘Our objective is to create a clear, consistent identity and to increase the visibility of the PaperlinX brand across all our operations in the UK and Ireland.
‘We now have one dedicated team providing customers with access to the Group’s entire product portfolio via a dedicated account manager, and it makes strong commercial sense to promote our offering that includes paper, packaging, graphics, digital wide format printers and print consumables under one unified brand.’
PaperlinX added that there will be no change to trading terms and conditions for customers, and that the three UK operating companies will remain as separate legal entities.
