A range of printing and die cutting technology for signage and outdoor graphics production are now available in the UK from Design Supply.
The company has been appointed a dealer for Mimaki’s CJV30 series of integrated print and cut solutions for stickers, seals, labels, posters, promotional prints, PoS displays, vehicle graphics, banners and general signage.
The product comes in four different print widths ranging from 600 mm to 1600 mm and offers environmental benefits such as ultra-low odour and fast drying solvent inks to enable immediate cutting after printing and eliminating peeling. They also boast an Uninterrupted Ink Supply System (UISS), which automatically switches to another cartridge when supply runs out, making them ideal for lights out operations.
With high-speed print capability of four or six colours of up to 1,440 dpi quality for greater print precision, vibrancy, versatility and reliability the printer delivers a choice of high definition inks including metallic, white, eco and low solvent.
All four large format printers have the company’s die cutting feature and accurate contour cutting facility. The fully automated print and cut workflow boosts print productivity, as no operator intervention is required.
Alistair Wright, director said, ‘We are bringing to market a new generation of flexible, cost-effective integrated printing and cutting technology that is capable of transforming print jobs of any size by creating stunning visual effects. The software is easy to operate and suitable for multiple applications, while the amazing product packages we have on offer means it’s a ‘win win’ situation for printers both large and small.’
Other features of the series include a take up roller, media feed, automatic roller camp system and unique sheet off feature to avoid head strikes, level three Postscript RIP, 16 bit rendering in the RIP and a special print head configuration to eliminate banding.
