The Develop ineo 951 mono production printer.
DSales, the distributor of the Develop range of production print systems manufactured by Konica Minolta, has a new entry level monochrome device available, which it says offer in-plants and external print shops a high degree of flexibility and output quality.
The ineo 951 press is a 95-page per minute machine with a genuine resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi and a unique screening technology. It can handle substrates from 40 gsm up to 350 gsm, and formats up to SRA3. A pre-installed tandem printing function enables two systems to be coupled together to double the output without needing expensive software. This gives it a combined output of up to 11,400 impressions per hour. The system has a maximum monthly print volume of 1.5 million impressions.
Further aspects of the ineo 951 include a maximum paper capacity of 9000 sheets in five cassettes, a paper catalogue that stores details of frequently used media to speed up repeat jobs, and a wide range of finishing options, such as booklet making, two and four-hole punching, and various folding capabilities.
Jonathan Whitworth, managing director of DSales (UK), said: ‘The outstanding quality of the ineo 951’s printing and the high degree of media flexibility make it the ideal solution for demanding production environments, because to succeed in this segment, print shops need to ensure first-class document quality coupled with output flexibility.’
