Customer communications management software developer Sefas has launched Express Hybrid Mail, the first of what will be a range of five Express solutions.

Sefas said that Express Hybrid Mail offers ‘a simple, cost-effective way of consolidating traditional mail from any desktop application.’ Instead of being printed locally on desktop printers and manually processed; documents can be aggregated and securely transmitted to a centralised production facility for printing, inserting and/or delivery via multiple channels.

‘Localised print and mail in offices, branches or satellite locations is an uncontrolled area of cost and can be difficult to manage,’ said Giles Hill, general manager of Sefas UK.

‘Complex inventory management, cash expenditure on stamps or franking machine credits, manual filling of envelopes, ineffective management of pre-printed stationery all impact staff productivity and an organisation’s bottom line. Express HM is a brilliantly simple solution, based on tried-and-tested technology that will help our clients reduce costs and improve their customer communications in a challenging economic climate.’

Using Express HM does not change the standard process of printing documents for an organisation’s staff. These direct all their print to the Express Hybrid Mail print driver, which then automatically triggers the secure collecting, sending and tracking process.

Express HM also integrates into other Sefas Open Print capabilities.
