Peter Williams: ‘We are committed to supporting this key industry event.’
Digital press maker Ricoh has committed to having a major presence at the Ipex print exhibition in London Docklands in 2014.
This follows a run of bad news for the Ipex organiser over the summer as Agfa, Heidelberg and HP all said that they would not be exhibiting.
‘The recent announcements on new initiatives by Ipex to reflect the role of print in the marketing mix align with Ricoh’s own focus to provide print service providers with the products and services that they need to expand beyond print, and help their own clients to deliver communications that drive results,’ said Peter Williams, executive vice president, head of Production Printing Business Group, Ricoh Europe.
‘We believe that Ipex in London will reflect the evolving multi-channel industry we now all work in. We are committed to supporting this key industry event and look forward to meeting the visitors at the show.’
Trevor Crawford, event director for Ipex 2014, said: ‘We are delighted that Ricoh has chosen Ipex as a worldwide showcase for 2014 and that it supports the range of new initiatives we are pursuing. Our industry is becoming increasingly digitally focused, and the scale of commitment by lead players like Ricoh to Ipex 2014 reflects this.’
