Markzware has upgraded its FlightCheck preflight software to version v6.90, which adds support for Adobe Creative Suite 6.
Flightcheck is unusual in its ability to check a range of native file formats for printing problems, as well as the more usual ability to check PDF files.
It can preflight InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CS6 in Adobe Creative Suite 6, as well as preflight QuarkXPress, check Adobe Acrobat PDF, and several other DTP file types created in graphic software page layout applications. FlightCheck Ground Controls can detect printing problems, such as missing fonts or low image resolution, to help avoid printing problems.
The FlightCheck v6.90 upgrade includes:
• CS6 support for InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Improved handling of embedded EPS files in InDesign documents.
• Improved rendering of Pantone colour swatches in the Overview window.
• Improved thumbnails for PDFs created out of PowerPoint documents.
