Next year’s Sign & Digital UK show will once again feature a ‘Green Trail,’ highlighting products from exhibitors that can display either an eco-friendly, environmental or ethical element.

Alan Caddick, marketing manager of Sign & Digital UK, said: ‘The Green Trail was very successful at Sign & Digital UK 2012 with exhibitors noticing an increase in discussions around eco-friendly products and visitors now actively enquiring about energy consumption and recycled materials. It was only the first year last year and it went really well – so much so that we are running it again for 2013 and this year we will be making more of it. We invite our exhibitors to make us aware of any products being shown at the event that will fit this new initiative.’

The Green Trail will be heavily promoted through marketing campaign leading up to the show and will be highlighted in the show guide and floorplan so visitors can easily identify which stands are taking part.

The organizer said that applications for the Green Trail will be vetted to ensure that they actually do display either an eco-friendly, environmentally aware or ethical element to the product.
