Dates have been announced for HP’s latest Latex Application Tour during October, where it will take a truck loaded with large format printing kit around various UK cities.

The 16.5m-long customised truck and trailer will visit six cities throughout England and Scotland. The 12-day road show will demonstrate the applications achievable with the HP Designjet L26500 and Designjet L28500 printers, which use the Latex solvent-free outdoor-capable inks, as well as the Designjet Z6200 photo printer, which uses water-based inks for indoor use.

The companywill also run a price promotionduring the tour. Special Tour Tickets will be offered to the first 75 customers that purchase a Designjet L26500, L28500 or Designjet Z6200 during the tour. The tickets will entitle customers to save money by claiming a discount of up to £1000 on the Latex printers or £500 for the photo printer, against the list price. Photo printer customers will also receive a pack of HP Everyday Matte Polypropylene media.

The latex printers are suited to point of purchase displays, vehicle graphics and soft signage among others. Both models use HP L792 Latex Designjet Inks, formulated to produce rich blacks and glossy results on banners and self-adhesive vinyl. Being water-based, the Latex inks are non-hazardous and odourless.
