The mediaPro marketing event is to be incorporated into September’s inaugural Cross Media 2012 show in London, following its purchase by the latter’s organiser Informa Print & Media Group.
MediaPro 2012 was to have taken place at Olympia in late October. It was first held in 2009, aimed at media professionals understand the shifting landscape of multichannel marketing.
Cross Media takes place at the Business Design Centre in Islington on 3 & 4 September. It is aimed at marketers and agencies, with the aim of helping them to ‘discover how cross-platform campaigns can improve ROI, and for traditional print and media owners to understand the commercial implications and opportunities for their businesses.’ The free toattend event features six seminar theatres, over 70 speakers and more than 80 exhibitors.

The acquisition of mediaPro is limited to the brand assets and intellectual property. No personnel will move to Informa Group.
