Zanders manufactures speciality papers for labels, packaging and graphics.
German paper manufacturer Zanders, whose brands include Chromolux digital and Silver digital, has announced that prices for all its deliveries will be increased from 1 January 2019, as it seeks to ensure its future sustainability.
Sales director John Tucker commented: ‘Prices for chemicals, energy and pulp have seemingly stabilised, but remain at an historical all-time high. The cost explosion that has happened over the past one and a half years was not fully covered by previous price increases, and the buying market is still in a very tight situation for certain critical ingredients.
‘As we near the conclusion of the investor process, the price increase is also part of the strategic considerations for 2019 to ensure a sustainable future for the company.’
The company said that price increases for each of its products would be set depending upon the product, the respective market and the customer, and added that its sales team would contact customers to give them further details. Zanders manufactures high quality speciality papers for labels, packaging and graphic applications.
