The new Polar N78 Plus guillotine offers touchscreen operation
This month Technique Print Group has upgraded to a Polar N78 Plus guillotine, replacing an 18 year old Polar model.
The company works for a number of major brands, offering design, print, display and web services. The operators have undertaken training at the Banbury plant and are enthusiastic about the new technology and touchscreen operation.
Karl Smith, managing director, said, ‘The software and the speed of programming will be the key gains for us. Almost everything goes through the guillotine (at least 95% of work) and for digital it can involve cutting before and after the printing process. We bought our first press from Heidelberg when we set up 21 years ago and I have confidence in the equipment and support.’
