The FH-3204 (top) and the HSFT III
Sabur Digital will be stocking two new DGI industrial textile printers that are launching this month, the HSFT III and the FH-3204.
The DGI HSFT III is a 1.9m width roll-fed high speed dye-sublimation textile printer. Part of DGI’s Fabrijet Series, it is designed for high volume textile manufacture in applications including home furnishing, fashion and sportswear.
The printer, which was awarded Product Of The Year for Roll-Roll Dye Sublimation Onto Textile 2018 at the SGIA Awards, uses four Kyocera printheads, which are staggered to achieve print speeds of up to 250sqm/h. It also features a heavy-duty take-up system for printing jumbo rolls. A linear motor is said to increase print accuracy compared to standard belt-driven systems.
For point-of-sale work, the 3.2m FH-3204 hybrid sublimation printer offers dual production for printing both paper transfer and direct-to-textile sublimation. As with the HSFT III, it uses variable dot technology Kyocera printheads and offers a maximum print speed of 155sqm/h.
Sabur’s digital development director Aaron Burton commented, ‘We can’t wait to supply these two exceptional industrial printers to our clients. DGI are market leaders in technical innovation, and this is shown by both the DGI HSFT III and the FH-3204 offering real-time production updates through a dedicated app.
‘The first showing of the two printers is in Las Vegas at SGIA this month, and we’ll have the printers available for viewing before the end of the year at our own showroom in South Yorkshire.’
