The Lee King B1 at MP Foil Blocking
Following a visit to the USA, MP Foil Blocking has invested in a Lee King B1 foil blocking machine.
The new installation arrived in August and was purchased to bolster the company’s trade foil blocking service. It will operate alongside MP’s existing Gietz B2 foiler, two Heidelberg Platen SRA3 foilers, and Heidelberg Cylinder SRA1 foil blocking machine.
The LK106MT model runs at a top speed of 6500 B1 sheets per hour when foil blocking and 7500 when die-cutting.
The new arrival is timed ahead of the run-up to Christmas. In this period the company produces tens of millions of foil blocked vouchers along with foiled gift card hangers, foil blocked Christmas cards and other non-seasonal foiled items.
