Bryan Shirley’s last day was marked with a company-wide sports day
Long-standing director of Bluetree Group, Bryan Shirley, is stepping down from the board of directors after 18 years.
As part of the original team, before Bluetree Design & Print merged with instantprint.co.uk in 2012, Mr Shirley has seen the company through several major changes including the launch of the group’s subsequent brands; Route 1 Print, and Route 1 Connect.
Commenting on the future of the company, Mr Shirley said, ‘I know this visionary team are going to continue to grow and disrupt the market even further and it has been an absolute pleasure to be a part of this journey. As they say; it’s not a job, it’s an adventure.’
Managing director, Adam Carnell, stated, ‘It has been an honour working alongside Bryan over the last six years. He has had a massive influence on the performance of Bluetree Group as we have navigated our way through times of change in a very dynamic print market. I wish him all the best in his retirement.’
The management of Route 1 Connect is being passed onto Sarah Kilcoyne. ‘After working with Sarah for more than eight years, I know she is the right person to take the helm and drive Route 1 Connect even further,’ Mr Shirley added.
