The new UK headquarters of Trotec Laser is officially open for business. The opening was marked with the planting of a tree by Norbert Schrüfer, CEO of the Trodat Trotec Group, Simon Moore, managing director, Trotec Laser, and Martin Horne, managing director, Trotec Laser.
The recently refurbished 22,000sqft facility is located in Boldon Business Park in South Tyneside. The move supports the laser technology manufacturer’s rapid business growth within the UK and Ireland, providing an increased warehouse capacity and office accommodation to reinforce the growing UK sales and service operations.
Mr Horne said, ‘We are very proud of our new UK headquarters. Not only does the facility have a larger warehouse and office space to enable us to extend our products and services, but it is also home to our flagship state-of-the-art laser showroom. The move will allow us to fully implement our plans for growth, supporting our customers.’
The UK subsidiary was founded in 2007 and was located at Faraday Close in Washington until the recent move to Boldon.
