Antalis, Ashgate Automation, Smart Print and Vpress are coming together to exhibit their products and new technologies across the spectrum from web to finish. The companies will host a series of events throughout the year as a part of a “Print with Pride” initiative, a campaign to celebrate both the new technologies in print and its creativity.
The four companies plan to introduce various different techniques, including fifth-colour printing, to show visitors how they can enhance their services. The first event will be a Valentine’s Day-themed open day at Ricoh’s Telford factory on 12 February. Guests will have a tour of the factory and see live demonstrations and introductions to each supplier’s products and technologies. Additional activities during the day will include designing and printing Valentine’s Day cards and a poetry competition.
Antalis supplies paper, visual communications and packaging materials, with a range of over 13,000 products. Ashgate Automation provides finishing solutions for the printing and binding industry while digital press reseller Smart Print Technology has over 50 years’ combined experience in print and graphics arts. Vpress specialises in web-to-print and related workflow software and integration. The event is hosted by Ricoh.
