Friedheim is throwing its doors open this summer to showcase its Zechini range of specialist hard case book binding equipment.
From 10 June – 19 July the company’s Hemel Hempstead showroom will be open to customers who want to get into short run, hard case, high quality book production, want to streamline their workflow, or who have been producing books but need to increase their capacity and/or bring more work in-house.
‘Unlike most open houses we’ve made sure that we can give our customers enough time to see the kit,’ said Stuart Bamford, Friedheim’s national sales manager for post-press. ‘We’re trying to give an honest representation of the capabilities of the machines and not simply rush bodies through the door. The visits will be done through appointments with our sales force to ensure they get the most out of the trip.’
On show will be the Zechini X-Range, which includes the Roby Junior 2 case maker, X-case casing-in machine with glue pump and automated cleaning and the X-Forming book press and joint forming machines.
Finishing and embellishing machines will also be on display, including the latest version of the Amiga 52 thermal laminator and the Wohlenberg 115 high speed cutting machine.
