Blackman & White has unveiled the Genesis-Z, a cutting machine with modular laser, router and knife cutting on one bed as standard, at Fespa in Munich.
The new machine includes Virtual Fence, a dual-zone machine safety proximity sensor that will automatically slow and then pause it if a person or object gets too close. The cutter will resume where it left off when the obstruction is cleared without needing re-setting. Another feature is ViZeo, one-pass registration mark scanning and recognition technology that for faster graphic and file reading and faster cutting, with ‘exceptional’ accuracy.
‘The Genesis-Z represents a step-change in the cutting machine market,’ explained managing director Alex White. ‘We have introduced a number of pioneering technologies and I am very proud of our technical development team who help Blackman & White create technology that delivers significant cost savings and quality improvement for our customers.’
