Dumfries-based Alba Printers has installed an Horizon SPF-200L bookletmaker and two VAC-1000 tower collators from IFS.
‘The time had come to replace our aging existing bookletmaker,’ said managing director John Currie. ‘We chose the Horizon SPF-200L for the flexibility of work it can produce and its ability to produce A4 landscape booklets.
‘The new installation will provide efficiency savings through quicker turnaround times. It also means we can retain all booklet-making inhouse to make time and cost savings.’
The 4500bph Horizon SPF-200L combines stitching and folding with the ability to feed A4 landscape sheets up to 640mm in length.
