The British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) unveiled new branding at its annual Members’ Day on Tuesday 9 July.
The trade association, which has over 1200 member companies, welcomed guests to a morning conference and AGM at St. Bride’s, the London church historically associated with journalists and the media.
Speaking about the rebrand chief executive Charles Jarrold said: ‘Since November we have been working on our vision as an organisation and ensuring that our brand image reflects what the BPIF is; a modern, membership based business services association. It provides a modern presence with a nod to our heritage that aligns with our mission to be a thriving trade association, inspiring those around us to see opportunities for growth.’
The conference was led by Kevin Green, the former chief executive of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation. Mr Green provided practical advice on how businesses can address positive opportunities in people management.
This was followed by the AGM, which saw president Darren Coxon and Mr Jarrold review the body’s achievements over the past year.
The All-Party Parliamentary Print Group Reception formed the final part of the day. Stephen Metcalfe MP, Mr Jarrold and Louisa Bull of Unite welcomed guests to the House of Commons where they offered thoughts on the current and future state of the printing industry.
