Antalis launches textile media range

Coala Textiles are suitable for stretch signage applications as well as a variety of alternatives

Antalis has introduced Coala Textiles, a selection of coated polyester textiles for signage and decoration, to its Coala range of large format digital media.

Introduced in response to the demand for bespoke and personalised signage and decoration in both residential and commercial environments, Coala’s textile options have been selected for their versatility and as a more environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional PVC materials.

The range includes products suitable for signage that is frontlit, backlit, blockout or stretch and flag, as well as for specialist decoration such as wallcoverings, acoustic dampening and sunshades.

‘The trend to create bespoke, personalised interiors within both commercial and residential markets continues to grow,’ said visual communication product manager Mike Collins. ‘Antalis has developed the best possible range of textile media that will provide our customers with both the scope and quality they need to tap into the interior design market.’

The new range supports latex, dye sublimation and UV-cured printing and has been developed with the existing Coala Walldesign option in mind, with the combined portfolios designed to enable large format specialists, and commercial printers looking to diversify their offering, to capitalise on the growing opportunities presented by the interior design market.
