Antalis has added Triaprint, an extruded polypropylene sheet designed for screen and digital printing, to its range of sustainable products.
Triaprint is available in 1220 x 2440 or 1500 x 3050mm sizes, with thickness options of 3.4 and 5.7mm. It is stocked in white, but other colours are available when made-to-order. Antalis has described it as having a smooth top and bottom surface, and as an environmentally friendly alternative to the use of foam PVC, foam board and other rigid plastics.
Possible applications for the new product, which is made from 100% polypropylene, in turn making it 100% recyclable, include POS and display, indoor and outdoor signage, exhibitions and events, and both internal and external hoardings. It is suitable for use with UV-cured inks.
‘Antalis is committed to the continued development of sustainable material alternatives for its customers,’ said Paul Neale, visual communications product manager. ‘Following the recent launch of Xanita Board – a lightweight, robust and sustainable fibre-board manufactured from fibres recovered from recycled cardboard boxes – Triaprint now joins the portfolio. Further products are planned for launch later this year!’
