Leicester-based finishing firm Clinical Print Finishers has invested in a B2 Horizon AFC 566FG folder from Intelligent Finishing Systems.
The AFC-566F can handle sheet sizes ranging from 128 x 148 to 558 x 850mm in weights up to 244gsm, boasts an icon-based 10.4in colour touch screen and can memorise up to 200 job settings for quick and easy recall.
‘We have seen a huge increase in our Z Fold Card production and needed a system that could cope with the quicker setups required,’ said operations director Alan Pickles. ‘We needed a folder that was compatible with our other machines and proven in the required area.
‘We particularly liked the AFC-566F’s simplicity, build quality and aftersales support. IFS also keeps us up to date with what is in the marketplace so were aware of new developments. It has enabled us to take on more work in the Z Fold Card markets and as such we expect return on investment in 12 to 24 months.’
