Service Graphics has acquired Octink, a Brentford-based wide-format printer. This is the company’s second takeover announcement of the week, following the purchase of Image Factory Retail Graphics, a Chippenham-based producer of POS and POP for the retail and brand marketing sectors.
Image Factory, which employs a team of 60, will continue to be led by its existing management team, including Terry Smith, who will remain as managing director. Likewise Octink’s management team, led by CEO Will Tyler, will remain and continue to manage the business.
‘Everyone at Image Factory is excited to be joining Service Graphics,’ Mr Smith said. ‘POS and POP complement the Service Graphics vision – customers of both businesses will benefit.’
‘Through joining Service Graphics, we are realising our ambition of providing our customers with a range of services and added value that will be unrivalled in the sector,’ Mr Tyler added. ‘The Octink team are looking forward to being at the centre of this new proposition.’
Such a shame that Image Factory have lost all their best staff. Still good luck Service Graphics, with what’s left, your going to need it.
