Antalis is set to introduce a new lighter-weight 6mm option to its Xanita range of display boards, launched in April 2019.
Designed for ‘a wide range of decorative and even structural applications, including POS, shop-fit and exhibition design,’ the Xanita range is 100% recyclable engineered fibreboard, manufactured with a corrugated kraft core made of recycled cardboard boxes.
Stocked in a 2440 x 1220mm sheet size, Antalis describes the 6mm option as being ‘perfectly suitable and easily strong enough to produce robust, free-standing display units.’ Furthermore, the new product is well suited to more creative and intricate designs such as exhibition mock ups or reproducing smaller display items. Finally, it gives customers an alternative environmental choice to the use of foam PVC for internal POS and signage applications.
‘Every day, Antalis is working towards providing innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers,’ said product manager Paul Neale. ‘With the use of plastics very much under scrutiny, Xanita is helping to meet the demand from a growing number of businesses looking to reduce their environmental impact. 6mm Xanita will help to fulfil a need in the market for a commercial, sustainable board ideal for a wide range of internal display applications.’
