Vint Cerf will deliver the Stationers’ Company’s annual lecture at Stationers’ Hall on 11 March 2020.
Mr Cerf, an honorary freeman and liveryman, is widely acknowledged as one of the ‘founding fathers of the internet’ and has a profound interest in the future of documents and the importance of their longevity in an online world.
He will speak on the theme of The Future of Text, focusing on some innovative new authoring and reading applications featuring the power of text interaction with the assistance of powerful computing.
Since 2005 Mr Cerf has worked for Google as chief internet evangelist, contributing to global policy development and the continued spread of the Internet.
