Hunkeler has announced the launch of the WI8 Web Inspection System, the latest edition of its tool for extensive inspection tasks in high speed web-fed digital print finishing lines.
Available in the UK via Friedheim International, the new WI8 Web Inspection System has been updated to run with all of Hunkeler’s Generation 8 finishing equipment. The system performs quality control and content verification of print on every page, including colours, feature position, contours, smearing, missing jets or data validation. Each of the controls has independent tolerance settings that the user can adjust and optimise to the production quality required.
The system also features the latest CIS Scanner technology, its underlying inspection software has also been updated and optimised and it can be combined with Hunkeler’s Tracking solution to offer additional benefits to users.
