Northern Flags has launched a range of new products, including flags, banners and stickers which show support for the NHS and other key workers.
For every product sold £5 will be donated to the NHS Charities COVID-19 Urgent Appeal. This appeal, set up by NHS Charities Together, is raising money to support all of the NHS staff and volunteers currently working to battle the spread of the Coronavirus.
The donations will go towards well-being packs for staff and volunteers working in hospitals, travel and accommodation costs, and longer term mental health support for medical workers. The appeal has already raised over £18million.
‘These are unprecedented and scary times for us as a country, but one thing that has stood out has been the unwavering and tireless efforts of our NHS medical workers and volunteers,’ said managing director Iain Clasper-Cotte. ‘In what must be unbelievably trying times, they have faced the crisis with determination and, more often than not, a smile.
‘At Northern Flags, we have watched events unfold and, as a company, decided we wanted to do our part. That’s why we designed this range to allow people and businesses to show their support for our incredible NHS and, more importantly, to raise money that will go towards helping them. The £5 we will be donating from each product sold will be a small gesture but hopefully a vital one in the long battle against this deadly disease.’
