Screen Graphic Solutions has unveiled the Truepress Jet520HD mono, the latest addition to its Truepress Jet520HD series of high-speed roll-fed inkjet presses. The system is a specialised model for monochrome printing and scheduled for worldwide release in the second quarter of 2020.
The system, the first high-speed roll-fed monochrome press for the series, has been designed to help meet on-demand printing requirements. It inherits the technologies Screen had previously created for the Truepress Jet520HD series and prints at resolutions of up to 1200 x 1200dpi.
The Truepress Jet520HD mono is also equipped with Screen’s Truepress ink SC range giving the press the ability to print directly onto offset coated papers. It can be added to a production line as a dedicated monochrome press or used to replace toner-based production printers. In both cases, the system is capable of delivering major increases in efficiency for monochrome output.
Going forward, Screen says it intends to ‘Continue its focus on meeting the diverse market needs of the printing industry while also developing and delivering products and solutions that help to further expand the scope of industry operations.’
