US and Russian-based web-to-print software developer Aurigma is offering a service around its Customer’s Canvas software brand to help printers to build sales sites based on the Shopify e-commerce platform.
Removing the requirement for the printer to have programming skills or infrastructure, the new service includes a series of steps, from discussing the project goals and desired outcome, building a proof-of-concept to validate the feasibility to deployment and integration, followed by training, ongoing support and updates.
‘From our experience, small and medium-sized vendors often lack the technical expertise and resources to launch a web-to-print project,’ stated Dmitry Sevostyanov, CEO at Customer’s Canvas. ‘This is a serious burden that prevents many companies from initiating them.’
Customer’s Canvas offers the whole development cycle, based on its own expertise technology, the latter principally a web-to-print editor and a new Back Office component that simplifies integration so that non technical staff can handle it.
‘We decided to offer a service for Shopify-based storefronts because this e-commerce platform is easy to set up and use, yet powerful – both things that have made this platform so popular these days,’ Mr Sevostyanov continued. ‘Much like our service, Shopify helps users focus on their core business and gets rid of the headache of setup and maintenance while providing a comprehensive web-to-print solution.’
An initial free consultation is offered for those interested in web-to-print but uncertain how to proceed.
