Foliant has launched the Foliant Vega 400SF and the Foliant Vega 530SF, two next generation laminators designed to bridge the gap between industrial and entry level systems.
The Vega 400SF is intended for the B3 market and the Vega 530SF for B2 applications. Both have been developed to deliver increased performance, enhanced runnability and simpler set-up. They can also handle a wide variety of digital printed sheets and high volumes of offset printed sheets ensuring production flexibility.
The Vega 400 SF runs at up to 20m/min, 2300 B3 sheets per hour, and has a maximum format of 38 x 66cm. The Vega 530 SF runs at up to 20m/min, 1720 sheets per hour, and has a maximum format 53 x 75cm.
Both new models have deep pile suction feeders for high reliability, a pneumatic high-speed bump separator and an adjustable dual decurl bar and overlap system. They boast intelligent automation, automatic regeneration of master pressure roller and the ability to run wide range of BOPP and nylon films. They are controlled via an interactive icon-based touch screen and can be retrofitted with the Foliant foiler.
