Following last week’s announcement that The Visual Media Conference (VMC) is going virtual for 2020, the organisers have now confirmed several of the speakers for the event.
Presenting on 16 September, under there new theme of ‘Future Focus,’ will be James Somerville, founder of ’Known Unknown’ and former VP global design at The Coca-Cola Company, Adrian Odds, Communisis’ director of strategy and market propositions and Steve Hilleard, chief executive officer, Office Products International.
Over 5 years Mr Somerville rebranded many ‘iconic global beverages including all of Coca Cola’s ‘billion dollar brands’. Calling in from Atlanta, Georgia he will share ‘a unique perspective of how brands and companies can differentiate themselves in the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.’
Mr Odds will ask what factors really contribute to great customer experience and a higher Net Promotor Score. He will consider the new completely digital native, socially distanced, mass consumer that COVID-19 has created and explore how to use Artificial Intelligence to cut through the noise ensuring the optimum customer experience for increased revenue growth.
Finally, Mr Hilleard will host a global panel that will consider the effects of the pandemic on the business supplies industry around the world and the different approach each country is taking on the road to recovery.
Other speakers on the day will ‘share inspirational ideas and practical foresight,’ with case studies of innovation throughout COVID-19 combining ‘tangible business solutions with examples of inspiring leadership.’ Audience participation will be encouraged throughout the day’s panel sessions.
