Canon has launched updated versions of its ColorWave and PlotWave wide-format printer series.
The former consists of three models, the 3600, the 3800 and the 9000, whereas the latter, monochrome range, consists of five models, the 3000, 3500, 5000, 5500 and 7500.
The presses have been designed to ‘support and encourage creativity in all organisations at every stage of the design process – from the visualisation of ideas, through the developmental process to final designs.’
Canon says that both upgraded series offer ‘enhanced security benefits and improved ease of use,’ and come with integrating optional finishing and scanning solutions.
‘With our long heritage in the large format printing market, Canon is dedicated to continuously developing innovative technology to support our customers’ evolving needs and enable them to confidently print their concepts and designs right first time at a high quality,’ explained Dominic Fahy, category head, technical document systems, production printing products, Canon UK.
‘Customer feedback to date on the ColorWave and PlotWave series has been extremely positive, but with our updated portfolio we are offering an even more integrated and intuitive range of devices. With a new end-to-end solution, which integrates scanning, printing and finishing, and with enhanced ease-of-use and improved security features, we are providing our customers with the perfect all-in-one solution.’
