Datagraphic has installed a Fusion Cross enclosing line from Böwe Systec at its production centre in Rugby. The document automation company described the purchase as part of its growth strategy.

Installed in August of this year, the machine, which can deliver up to 22,000 envelopes per hour, will increase Datagraphic’s capacity by replacing processes that rely on manual workflows. They company also described the Fusion Cross mail piece integrity technology, which monitors mailing pack fulfilment, as a key feature.

‘As you can imagine, the installation process of the Fusion Cross required detailed planning due to Covid-19 workplace restrictions,’ said Sarah Butler, general manager at Datagraphic. ‘I can’t thank the teams at Datagraphic and Böwe Systec enough for their work to make this happen.

‘If this year has provided any lessons, it’s that the ‘work from anywhere‘ culture is here to stay,’ Ms Butler continued. ‘Our clients are now outsourcing more of the documents they would previously have sent to the office printer. They rely on our same-day hybrid mail service to deliver essential communications to their customers, suppliers and employees. This investment gives us more capacity to meet those demands.’
