High Wycombe-based Spot on Print has said its longstanding relationship with Intelligent Finishing Systems was behind its recent investment in a Durselen UD-04 drill.
The family-run business produces direct mail, folders, leaflets and corporate brochures, stationery and packaging using an HP Indigo digital press. It works with a diverse range of sectors from animal health, banking, the music industry, local schools and charities, and also operates a Heidelberg SpeedMaster XL75 litho press.
‘It was quite a simple decision,’ managing director Darren Lewis said of the investment. ‘We needed to replace an aging drill that completed a core process in the work we do. It was essential to maintain the continuity, so we needed a straight forward replacement.
‘We trust IFS and the systems they install. For us it was about choosing a supplier where we have a strong relationship and we know they will help us if ever it is needed. It is all about the people. That for me was the most important thing.’
