Inkjet manufacturer Screen Europe has appointed of Martijn van den Broek as regional sales manager Benelux and Taishi Motoshige as marketing director Europe.
Screen says it has been experiencing strong growth across Europe in recent years, particularly in Germany, but is now aiming to build on this success with further expansion its home Benelux region.
Martijn van den Broek has been with Screen for around 20 years in various roles across international sales, product management and marketing. In his new role he’ll be responsible for sales of both Screen Truepress Jet label and commercial high-speed inkjet printing platforms as well as gradually taking over the role of area director from Frans Kops, who will retire in late March.
‘With his long experience in the business and in-depth knowledge of Screen’s innovative technology, Martijn is the right person to drive expansion of our client base in Belgium and the Netherlands,’ said Bui Burke, senior VP sales at Screen Europe. ‘He has a deep understanding of what customers need, an extensive network, and knows how our advanced digital printers can help print companies achieve their objectives in today’s challenging market.’
For his part Taishi Motoshige joined Screen in 2014. In 2019, he moved from the Screen headquarters in Kyoto to its European operation, where he became manager of sales and operations coordinator.
Speaking about Mr Motoshige, Mr Burke added, ‘With his proven marketing skills, Taishi has contributed to our expansion in Europe since he joined Screen Europe’s headquarters in 2019. He will now drive our marketing strategy with energy and expertise in his new role as marketing director.’
