Duplo has launched the 150 Booklet System, a pairing up of the company’s existing DSC-10/60 feeding system and its DBM-150 Booklet Maker and Trimmer.
The former is able to handle a wide range of printed components, including heavy stocks, laminated or pre-folded items, whether produced on digital or offset presses; the latter is an integrated system that sets up automatically from job memories to staple, fold and fore-edge trim to create a booklet or flat document.
‘The new combination of existing proven products brings a level of efficiency and reliability that has not existed before,’ said international marketing manager Marine Kerivel-Brown. ‘Customer choices have become limited as the number of suppliers to the market has reduced, but Duplo has increased our already impressive range with further options that allow a user to choose exactly what fits their needs and budget, without restricting future opportunity.’
The 150 Booklet System can service the production from offset and multiple digital presses without being restricted to one print engine. It is capable of handling automatically a wide variety of booklet formats from smaller-than-CD to A4 portrait finished size without interruption.
