Printwear & Promotion Live has been pushed back into 2022 as a result of the ongoing impact of the pandemic.
The event’s organisers initially made the decision to postpone the show in September 2020, moving it from its planned dates of February 21 – 23 2021 to either May or June 2021.
Now, with the UK Government confirming that late June will be the earliest possible date such exhibitions could return, the organisers say that they ‘don’t feel that it will be viable to hold the show in the first half of 2021.’
A statement read, ‘Although it may be possible to delay the show till the end of the summer or the autumn, with our 2022 show scheduled for February 20 – 22, we do not think running two shows within six months is a sensible option for visitors or exhibitors. Also, as an early date in the year is preferred by all parties, we would not want to push back the 2022 show dates.’
The 2022 show will be hosted in Hall 20 at The NEC in Birmingham and a provisional floorplan should be available by the start of April.
A survey carried out by Printwear & Promotion in 2020 revealed that its visitors had been optimistic about attending the show in 2021 with 71% of visitors saying the pandemic hadn’t changed their plans and 5% actually indicating that they were now more likely to visit. However 21% did say that they would be more likely to attend if the show was pushed back a few months.
