CMYUK is extending its supply chain and marketing development strategy into international territories.
With the final terms of the UK’s exit from the European Union now confirmed, the company can immediately begin distributing to any printers and producers across the EU from its existing warehouse facility in the UK.
The company has also confirmed that 2021 will see the establishment of a central European logistics infrastructure. Markets further afield will be serviced by localised specialist storage and logistics companies.
‘In concert with our joint eco-materials development, it has long been our plan to expand our products onto the international stage,’ explained group sales and marketing director Robin East. ‘CMYUK International will connect key print partners and producers to clients from multiple business sectors that have a genuine interest in finding proven viable sustainable solutions for their large format digital print needs.’
This strategy mirrors the one that CMYUK has implemented across the UK, where highly targeted social media campaigns have been used to ignite end-user interest in environmental materials. These potential new customers are then connected to existing CMYUK digital wide-format print company partners and producers.
These partnership are designed to help brands reach their sustainability goals, whilst also providing printing companies with new clients. The single tier supply chain direct-to-printer distribution model then ensures the lowest possible procurement costs.
As part of existing partnerships CMYUK has introduced UK brands to eco-friendly materials including PVC-free Kavalan and UFabrik ECO products as well as connecting print companies to new opportunities identified by specific market-focused social media campaigns.
