MPH Enterprises, a Leeds-based print service provider, has celebrated 20 years in business by announcing significant expansion plans. The company, which describes itself as providing ‘every type of innovative and bespoke promotional product,’ intends to relocate to new premises and create new jobs.
Over the past two decades the business has developed significantly, with turnover growing by 50% in the last financial year, and now boasts a 10 strong team. The current plan is to employ several more people before this summer and, later in the year, relocate from its current base to a new warehouse and distribution centre in Leeds.
Commenting on this growth, and his future plans, founder Marc Harvey said, ‘The success of MPH Enterprises is built on not simply offering a set range of products. There are lots of companies offering branded mugs and pens, but that has never been our primary market. Instead, our ethos is about working with clients to determine what will make a difference, then sourcing those goods, wherever they are in the world, which enables us to offer an infinite number of products that make a real impact.’
Mr Harvey explained that other key selling points for his organisation include the ability to offer storage and fulfilment, as well as giving clients their own online ordering portal. MPH also offers fully personalised merchandise which Mr Harvey adds has been a major growth area recently and all of these services will be key parts of the planned expansion.
In response to the pandemic, the company has also launched a range of customised products including work from home kits, face masks, branded recipe boxes and even jigsaw puzzles, as well as bespoke flags and bunting for sports fans watching events at home.
Mr Harvey concluded, ‘although the pandemic means we are producing significantly less merchandise for events, the situation has created plenty of new opportunities for companies and brands to engage with their employees and clients by sending treats, gifts, well-being packs and all types of other goods to people at home. Done properly, this offers profound and long-lasting value, and it is an area we have become experts in.’
