Cloud-based MIS provider PrintLogic has integrated pricing and ordering information from Antalis into its software, enabling its users to order more accurately and efficiently.
Customers of both companies can gain real-time access to the entire Antalis inventory via an API link in PrintLogic for which their Antalis representative will supply necessary user credentials on request. This will enable PrintLogic users to check stock and pricing and to place orders directly through the PrintLogic system, making ordering faster and more accurate.
‘The rising and varying costs of raw materials present challenges to commercial printing companies. If the information is not accurate or not accurate at the time, it can lead to inaccurate estimates and have a big impact. Small or medium-sized businesses can’t always afford to absorb the costs and wastage that this can incur. As such, accuracy and the ability to make estimates with information in real-time is essential,’ said Anna Smolinska, senior sales executive at PrintLogic developer Wildcard.
‘Taking a paper giant and making its inventories more readily available is a key move for PrintLogic. Antalis is Europe’s leading distributor of paper, packaging and visual communications products. That makes them a big partner and the benefits of this integration will be felt by printers all over the world,’ she added.
Charlie Empson-Ridler, CRM & E-Commerce development manager at Antalis, commented, ‘Antalis has always strived to provide customers with innovative solutions to make the ordering process as simple and straightforward as possible. Our close relationship with PrintLogic has benefitted our mutual customers by reducing time and manual intervention during the ordering process for both parties.
‘The uptake of integration between the PrintLogic MIS and Antalis’ stock and ordering system is continuing to increase as customers see the real benefits of ordering using the latest software technology.’
