The Stationers’ Company has awarded seven new Stationers’ Warrants for 2021. The Warrants, developed to recognise excellence within the communication and content industries, were open to any company operating in a sector represented by the Stationers’ Company.
For 2021 the Warrant Committee made the application scheme an online process and met virtually during the year to organise and judge the entries. The Warrants themselves were awarded based on a set of criteria including original design and high-quality manufacturing and production techniques, as well as considerations like appropriate and sustainable packaging and relevance to its industry or market sector.
The seven Warrants were issued to:
- Baddeley Brothers for its ‘elegant and distinctive’ labels
- Downey for marrying modern sustainability with 100 years of tradition
- Incontrol Marketing for the personalisation and tailoring of its marketing portal
- The Jolly Savage Company for putting back unused consumables into the supply chain
- printIQ for it continuous development approach
- Renz UK for its Air2Color product
- Two Sides for its their proven goals promoting sustainability
Chris Geer, in her first year as Chairman of the Warrants Committee, commented, ‘Despite the unprecedented year we have just had, the Company was delighted to receive so many impressive applications from such a broad cross section of the Communications and Content industries.’
