Fujifilm has unveiled the CX3240 Creative Duplex Printer, a compact machine intended to make the production of speciality photo products ‘simpler than ever,’ by allowing retailers to bolster their photo retail offering without sacrificing large amounts of floor space.
The CX3240 is able to print up to 23 A4 sheets per minute as well as offering what Fujiflm calls a ‘broad range of print capabilities,’ including duplex and borderless printing and the ability to produce high quality photobooks, calendars and folded cards easily with automatic double-sided printing.
It can print on paper up to 330gsm in thickness, as well as unique surfaces such as satin or metallic, and Fujifilm says jobs are made ‘even easier for retailers’ thanks to borderless printing options eliminating the need for any post production trimming.
Mark Wade, product specialist at Fujifilm Imaging Solutions UK, commented, ‘With 2020 seeing 195 million photo greetings cards being purchased in western Europe, Fujifilm’s new CX3240 printer solution equips retailers to branch into the market, which is expected to grow by 30% by 2024.
