Quality Print Services (QPS) has been appointed as the official UK distributor for ColorJet’s UV flatbed and soft signage printers. Lancashire-based QPS will be providing five of the Indian manufacturers most advanced machines, the Verve LED, Verve Hybrid, Vulcan RTR, SoftJet Plus and the SoftJet Grand.
The Verve LED is an industrial UV flatbed printer that runs at speeds of up to 38sqm/hr and enables direct printing onto almost any kind of rigid surface including wood, glass, leather and ceramic tiles. Its sister machine, the Verve Hybrid, is a 3.2m-wide UV flatbed roll-to-roll printer that delivers fast and versatile UV performance at speeds of up to as 63sqm/hr. Developed specifically for high-endurance work, the Verve Hybrid can print on substrates including aluminium composite sign blanks and sheets, foamboard, fluted polypropylene, glass, ceramic tiles, wood, as well as a wide range of vinyl and flexible media.
The Vulcan RTR 3.2m-wide roll-to-roll UV flatbed inkjet printer, able to print at speeds up to 678sqft/hr is described as the ‘perfect solution for indoor and outdoor work,’ with the machine able to handle materials including backlit fabric, ceiling film, vinyl, advertising banner and PET.
Of the two SoftJet’s, the 2.5m SofJet Plus is an entry-level soft signage printer that is being marketed as ‘the perfect solution for minimum investment and maximum profitability.’ Finally, the SoftJet Grand is a 3.2m soft signage printer suitable for a whole host of soft signage applications such as banners, displays, wall decorations, signage, parasols, flags, backdrops and outdoor advertisements.
