Brightside has installed a Matrix 370 laminating machine to help it meet an ‘unprecedented demand’ for its services since lockdown was eased across England.
The East London company, which installed a Graphtec F-Mark cutting table earlier this year, said that it needed the Matrix 370’s ‘high-quality, one-stop solution’ to laminating a wide range of brochures, folders and business cards to help it meet the needs of hotel and restaurant owners, event organisers and festival management teams with society reopening.
Laurence Hobbs, print sales director at Brightside commented, ‘Since the Covid lockdown rules changing on 19 July the London printing enquiries from bars and restaurants have almost doubled. I see a boom ahead of us at this rate. The addition of the Matrix 370 laminator to our plant list will help us cope with this extra demand. Matrix does the entire job, from start to gloss.’
The company went on to describe its latest investment as a ‘solidly built laminator that delivers dependable, high-quality performance. Capable of delivering large volumes of laminated items in a short space of time, it enables Brightside to offer fast turnaround times on print jobs for the hospitality and events sectors. The laminator is recognised as a leader in the field, creating top-quality results quickly and consistently.’
With events such as the All Points East festival, the Yam Carnival, the Greenwich and Docklands International Festival and Peckham’s inimitable Hot Sauce festival taking place in the next few weeks, Brightside expects to be putting the Matrix 370 to good use in the near future.
