Service Graphics Southern Mail, part of the Paragon Group, has become the first company in the UK to take delivery of a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C7100 digital colour press, launched in June 2021.
The Taunton-based company, a new start-up venture, is headed up by divisional director Jon Horler. He commented on the new investment, ‘We were looking for the perfect professional print solution to complement our brand-new operation in Taunton and were presented with the opportunity of being the first AccurioPress C7100 user in the UK. Whilst this was a factor in our decision, along with output excellence we also wanted expert reliable service and support, giving us the confidence to invest as we grow this exciting new venture.’
The press was installed in Somerset site at the end of June, with managing director of Service Graphics Mike Holyoake calling the solution an obvious choice for Service Graphics Southern Mail. ‘Whilst different manufacturers continually steal a lead on each other in the market, it’s hard to find anything better than Konica Minolta right now,’ he said. ‘We spoke to the team about our print requirements and found them exceptionally responsive and we were also won over by the overall post-sale proposition.’
Neil Hyde, solutions architect, Professional Print Central Communications at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) also commented, ‘This is the first AccurioPress C7100 to be sold in the UK and we are proud to see it taking centre-stage in supporting this exciting new venture. It is important for us to build upon this partnership with Service Graphics and the Paragon Group, to demonstrate not only technical excellence but also the all-important expert support too.’
