SwissQprint has parted ways with Spandex Benelux, its supplier in the Benelux region. To replace the partnership swissQprint is launching a new subsidiary which will provide sales, servicing and support across the region from 1 October.
The two companies first teamed up in 2015, with Spandex Benelux agreeing to distribute and support swissQprint’s range of UV flatbed systems across the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Despite a successful relationship over the intervening years the two companies have agreed to part ways, with the new subsidiary set to supply all equipment and consumables and provide all support across the region. SwissQprint puts this down to its need for ‘increased expertise’ to take its product portfolio into adjacent markets such as packaging as well as specialist print and industrial applications.
‘Being the exclusive distributor of such an innovative product range has really helped Spandex expand into new markets, but all good things must come to an end and we wish swissQprint continued success in the Benelux,’ commented Michael Buvens of Spandex Benelux
Jacques Orobitg, key account manager at swissQprint, added, ‘We intend to focus activities in the Benelux and to further expand our services.’
